Washtenaw Community College [1] is a two year community college on Huron River Drive between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. More than 20,000 students take credit and non-credit classes in fields ranging from 3d animation to welding. Many students from the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University take summer or non-major required classes at Washtenaw, whose tuition is a small fraction of the larger universities'.

A great institution to take online classes ("College on Demand"), Blended classes (meaning a blend of on-campus and online), or Weekend classes.

WCC's campus is accessible by AATA Route 3 and serviced by an on-campus bookstore owned by Barnes and Noble's college division and by Campus Book and Supply.
