The Earle is an upscale restaurant featuring French and Italian country cooking, located in downtown Ann Arbor. There is a wine bar (with Happy Hour 5-8 pm Monday-Friday), and sidewalk dining when weather permits. The menu changes seasonally; appetizers are $9.00-$11.00, entrees $20.00-$30.00, pasta entrees $17.00-$20.00 (see webpage for current menu http://www.theearle.com/menu/default.htm ).

Ambience is romantic (read "dimly lit," with cozy booths). Live music is performed in the main dining area some evenings. There is a birthday special if you sign up for their mailing list; they will mail you a card good for $10.00 off your entree during the month of your birthday, as well as occasional discount offers.

The Earle has a sister restaurant, The Earle Uptown, at the Bell Tower Hotel on the U of M Central Campus. The Earle Uptown specializes in traditional and modern French cuisine.

The Earle is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Day, and the Fourth of July.
