After 12 years as a home-based business, the womens clothing and accessories store Studio Glamour Fashions opened on Michigan Avenue in downtown Ypsilanti in October of 2007. Owner Edna Shelby had been watching for retail space for years, and the VG Kids motivated renovations of empty retail space in the Greystone Hotel Building struck her as the right time to make the jump.
