55th Manchester Chicken Broil! Thursday, July 17, 2008 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The annual Manchester Chicken Broil will be held Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Alumni Memorial Field in beautiful Manchester, Michigan, just 20 miles southwest of Ann Arbor. This long-time civic event is the largest event of its kind, with net proceeds benefiting public school, community park, library and local civic causes in the Manchester area.

The delicious dinner includes a half chicken, roll with butter, fresh cole slaw with secret local recipe, radishes, chips and beverage. Additional soft drinks, water and ice cream are available as extras. Entertainment, lots of camaraderie, and an expanded classic car show are provided for your enjoyment! The ticket price is $ 8.00 at the gate ($ 7.00 with advance purchase at various area merchants)!
