Huron River Drive begins at Strawberry Lake Road near Portage Lake.

HRD is a great ride for recreational cyclists -- it's a straight shot to Dexter (and the Dexter Cider Mill) or the Delhi Metropark and Hudson Mills Metropark. There's no bike lane, but you can safely get on the road by crossing the train tracks at Bandemer Park.

At this point West HRD dissapears into a tangle of streets. It reemerges on the east side of town.

HRD snakes through Washtenaw Community College, Eastern Michigan University, and mutates into Huron Street (=>YpsiWiki) in Ypsilanti.
