Hua Xing
From ArborWiki
2867 Washtenaw Avenue.
Hua Xing is a comprehensive Asian grocery that opened in 2005, in a former Toyota dealership on the west side of Ypsilanti. It's large - Kitchen Chick's review calls it "The Meijers of Asian grocery stores."
From that review,
The meat counter was... foreign. Okay, I recognized some of the cuts, but I wouldn't have an idea of what to do with them (and in some cases, I'd like to keep it that way). Various parts of pig that most Americans would find unappetizing these days, including tripe, along with other items I couldn't recognize, lay on beds of ice. But the thing that really got me was the tanks of live turtles and frogs. Toto, we're not in Ann Arbor anymore.

The selection seems to lean toward Chinese foods. Their (cold) fruits & vegetables room has an amazing amount of fresh things, including an impressive selection of chois, as well as things like preserved eggs and dried shrimp. The refrigerated coolers have many different kinds of fresh noodles, but the kimchi is pre-packaged, from New York. The frozen sections have all sorts of things, from pre-made dumplings to whole fish and other meats. However, their selection of things like Pocky and gummy candies is lacking. Still, it's hard to complain about an Asian grocery that seems to carry so much.
