David Nacht is an Ann Arbor attorney and politician, and member of the board of the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority.

Nacht has declared his candidacy for the 7th Congressional District as a Democrat in the 2008 election.

As an attorney who frequently represents employees, David A. Nacht has three pieces of free advice for employers: Hire carefully; be honest with employees when their performance isn't up to snuff, even if it's awkward; and treat each person with dignity.

While Nacht practices law, he also practices politics. He founded the Scio Township Democratic Party in the Republican stronghold west of Ann Arbor, putting together a slate of candidates that won six seats in the 2004 township election. Nacht is a trustee.
