Various "local" papers serve the area, though ownership, and therefore accountability, has been agglomerated higher and higher. A few independant monthlies have served Ann Arbor reliably. The campus and indie print media includes one long-standing daily and an assortment of weeklies, monthlies, bimonthlies, and every three weeklies.
