Located on 4135 Washtenaw Avenue, the Library for the Blind offers materials and services for "individuals who are unable to read or use normal printed materials as a result of a physical disability." Their collection includes braille materials and assistive technologies.

- The AADL has agreed to accept many of the collections of the Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled. If the transition is approved, these collections will be housed and accessible at the Downtown Library, located at 343 South Fifth Avenue in Ann Arbor.
