Pierpont Commons is kind of like the Michigan Union of North Campus. This shouldn't be surprising, because it's run by the University Unions organization.

It has meeting rooms and places to eat, as well as a few offices and CAEN labs.

Two pianos: one in the study lounge on first floor, one in the Commons Cafe aka cafeteria on the second floor.

It has a few restaurants:

• Panda Express
• Stache's Sandwiches
• Espresso Royale
• U'gos (a convenience store, but they have pizza and Big Ten Burritos)
