The Michigan Daily (ISSN 0745-967; http://www.michigandaily.com/ ; 420 Maynard Street, Ann Arbor) is a newspaper that publishes Monday through Friday. Although the paper is considered the University of Michigan's student newspaper, it maintains editorial integrity through independent funding. The paper's masthead bears the line, "119 years of editorial freedom."

The staff is composed of University students.
