You can watch the falafel being made from the front counter, or sit for table service in the back or outside on the patio.
It's easy to get Lunch under 5 dollars here - many sandwiches come in under the mark, including the classic falafel and hummus sandwich, at about $4.50. (Not so long ago - a decade, perhaps - this sandwich weighed in at a mere $2.80, making Jay-Gard a destination for almost 2 lunches under 5 dollars.)
