Huron has many meanings, globally and locally. In an Ann Arbor-specific context, "Huron" may mean:
- The Wyandot tribe of Native Americans, called Hurons by the French.
- One of a few things named for the tribe:
- The former mascot of Eastern Michigan University.
- Huron River, which runs through the centers of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti
- One of several things named for the river:
- Huron High School of the Ann Arbor Public Schools, which sits just outside the Huron River floodplain
- Any of a number of streets in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, including
- Huron Street, a major east-west artery through Ann Arbor and the point from which addresses are calculated on north-south streets.
