Some ideas for ArborWiki articles (or categories, I guess, but most of these are too small to be useful categories, and I hate categories full of two-sentence articles)
Categories:
- Category:Ghosts of phone booths past
- Category:Photo wanted
- Category:Cell phones (coverage, stores, experiences)
- Category:One room schoolhouses (and what are they now, with photos)
Articles:
- Alleys: which neighborhoods have residential alleys, which ones used to have alleys but they were abandoned, downtown commercial alleys, graffiti etc
- Ann Arbor in a page: This page would be a semi-long, photo-intensive page that would provide a sketch of the city: downtown, neighborhoods, recreation, politics, uni, scene, ??, linking along the way to articles that have photos and good descriptive text (pref. not to too many stubs).
- Biker bars - both motorcycle and bicycle, I suppose, for local flair
- Cool buildings
- Cool houses
- Dorm room ideas (can also be style ideas for apartments)
- Free parking (probably not a category, because lots of these are conditional, and it would be too easy to get false-positives)
- Free student activities
- How Buildings Learn: Ann Arbor edition
- The Mayor's house, a history of mayoral homes over time
- Spiffy gardens (alt title: Garden ideas)
- Student activities (things to to alone and in groups)
- Traffic calming
- Urban art and sculpture
- Walks to take
