William Asa Fletcher (b. June 26, 1788, Plymouth NH; d. Sept 19, 1852, Ann Arbor MI ) was the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Michigan and thus ex officio Regent of the University of Michigan from 1837-1842. He died in Ann Arbor in 1852 and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery.
