For 75 years, The Wheels in Motion family has been Ann Arbor's first choice for all of their cycling needs. We opened our first store, Campus Bike and Toy, on Depot street in 1933 and then moved to William Street. A lot of things have changed since then and bicycle technology has come a long way. But from our perspective, a lot of things have remained the same. We still treat every customer with respect and listen to their needs to fit them to the right bike. We still have the best service department in town that offers the same fast dependable service we always have. And we're still owned by the same family, for 75 years!

ANN ARBOR, MI (BRAIN) —Long-time retailer Wheels in Motion is wrapping up the final stages of a major expansion project that will more than quadruple its current 2,500 square-foot retail store, and make it Ann Arbor’s largest bike shop.
Owner Dewight Plotner purchased the vacant neighboring space, a former bowling alley, last August and began renovations in early March. The newly expanded section of the store will open for business on July 24.
