The Washtenaw Wanderers Volkssporting Club (WWVC) is the premiere walking group in Ann Arbor!

Come join us to plan Volkssporting events, which include: walking, cross-country skiing, skating, swimming, biking, or snowshoeing in Washtenaw County and Beyond!

We host 4-5 regular events each year, which only happen on one day only. We also host Year-Round Events (YRE) which can be walked any day of the year. The most common event is a Volksmarch - a 5K/10K walking event. On weekends, we carpool to regular and YREs located within an hour drive from Ann Arbor.

Founded in December 2006, the WWVC is a local club of the American Volkssport Association (www.ava.org), which is the national organization of the International Volkssportverband (www.ivv-web.org). Membership to the Wanderers, the AVA, or the IVV is not required to participate in events. But those who wish to record their fitness efforts are encouraged to do so for a nominal fee.
