One of the previous names of the Ann Arbor Railroad, from 1880 to 1884; at this time, the plan for the railroad's growth north of Ann Arbor was to connect to the Grand Trunk railroad at Pontiac via South Lyon.
The next name in use is the Toledo, Ann Arbor and North Michigan Railroad.
