The purpose of the Loyal Opposition to the Status Quo, Inc. is to advance the social and economic life of African-Americans and other minorities, through education, communication, rational thought, leadership and community attitudes.
The group was founded in 2006 by Raymond G. Mullins, an attorney.

Community activities: Voter registration and Obama campaign volunteer, Ypsilanti-Willow Run NAACP Youth Council, volunteer counselor 21st Century Youth Camp at Eastern Michigan University, music tutor, board member of the nonprofit organization Loyal Opposition to the Status Quo.
