A list of television stations that broadcast from Ann Arbor.

  • 1952: Educational Television and Radio Center formed in 1952 to distribute education programming; moved to New York City and became National Education Television, the basis for the Public Broadcasting System.
  • 1958: WPAG-TV, Channel 20, a Dumont affiliate, was off the air; WUOM-TV, Channel 26, no record of it ever making it on the air.
  • 1981: WRHT starts as an independent station on Channel 31.
  • 1982-1985: WIHT offers subscription television as IT-TV.
  • 1994-1995: WOLV, U of Michigan student television, starts on UM cable 55.
  • 1998: WPXD is on the air as a part of the PaxTV network.
