Steven Stamper (1955? - 2008) was the union chairman for United Auto Workers Local 600 at Ford's Automotive Components Holdings LLC plant in Milan, MI.

Obituary

Steven L. Stamper, age 53, of Saline passed away peacefully Nov. 27, 2008.

He lived in Britton until 2002 and was the longest serving chairman of Local 600 at the Milan Ford Plastics Plant, where he was employed for more than 30 years. Steven is survived by his wife, Emily; two sons, Charles (6 weeks) and Christopher; his mother, Betty Lou, a brother and five sisters.

Visitation at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan, from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 2; 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will begin at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home in Milan at 10 a.m. Thursday, followed by procession to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Saline for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
