Steven Ball and the 1927 Barton Theater OrganSteven Ball is Carillonneur at the University of Michigan and leader of the Ann Arbor Guild of Bell Ringers.

Ball is also the Staff Organist for the Michigan Theater. There's a cool CD of Ball concertizing the Michigan Theater organ called -- wait for it -- Havin a Ball (see also: track list). I believe you can purchase this cultural artifact at the little swag kiosk in the Theater.

In addition to his work at the University as an Assistant Professor of Organ and Carillon, Dr. Ball is Director of the Stearns Collection of Musical Instruments, University Carillonneur, Senior Staff Organist at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, and Cathedral Organist at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Detroit.
