The Southern Michigan Railroad Society is a non-profit organization in Michigan which operates a 13.5 mile branch line railroad as an operating railroad museum, using historic locomotives and cars.. 

The headquarters is located at 320 S. Division St. in Clinton, Michigan.

The Southern Michigan Railroad Society, Inc. is dedicated to building an operating museum railroad using the first branch rail lines into Michigan -- the Palmyra and Jacksonburgh -- and preserving its historical railroad era (1838-1982). The organization aims to promote the awareness of railroading through educational and social activities involving its members and the communities of Tecumseh and Clinton, Michigan.
