Sloan Petroleum Transport is a business operating gasoline tankers owned by Woodrow "Woody" Sloan. Two tankers collapsed in July 2013, spilling 1,000 gallons of gasoline in Ypsilanti Township. Subsequently, the township officials asked that the company be shut down for zoning violations.
In 2008, Sloan was fined for putting regular gas into mid-grade tanks in a Belleville gas station.
