Lee Karson, Ciena's regional director of operations, said the company decided to continue care for the 10 to 15 private-pay residents who will be left after the facility terminates its contract with Medicare and Medicaid, effective July 16. Riverview will continue to accept new private-pay residents, Karson said.
Riverview, located at 355 Huron View Boulevard on Ann Arbor's northwest side, is the only one of Ciena's facilities closing, Karson said. Ciena manages 32 facilities in Michigan, Karson said.
