Ride Around Town (RAT) is a monthly ride through downtown Ann Arbor organized by the Washtenaw Bicycling and Walking Coalition. This regular ride is meant to provide an opportunity to demonstrate that bicycles do belong as a part of the traffic mix in downtown Ann Arbor. To this end, the WBWC encourages participants to ride in accordance with the laws applicable to all vehicles.

Cyclists have ridden the RAT every month since November 2007. For the date of the RAT for any given month, monitor the WBWC website, getDowntown, or subscribe to the WBWC discussion group.

Typically the light blue loop is ridden first (counterclockwise, or heading east down Liberty), followed by the outbound green segment, then the inbound red segment.
