Ann Arbor Public Schools School Board Trustee (2003 - 2011 [tentative])

In mid-Summer 2009, Friedman bought a 5,600-square-foot house in Birmingham, MI, so that his children could live closer to their school, Detroit Country Day. A November 2009 story in AnnArbor.com raised controversy about Friedman's primary residence, which is (Nov. 2009) listed in both Ann Arbor and Birmingham. AAPS Trustees must have their primary residence in the City.
