The Saline Board of Education voted Thursday night to accept a $425,000 offer for the purchase of Union School by an entity of Ann Arbor-based Quantum Signal. If the sale is finalized, the 35-employee business could move into Union in the fall, said Chief Operating Officer Mitch Rohde.

Quantum Signal’s Reactor Zero division completed development work on the PC version of “Red Faction: Guerrilla,” created by Champaign, Ill.-based Volition for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’s the first major video game release for Reactor Zero since 10-year-old Quantum Signal started the business unit in 2005.
