Packard Marketplace is a retail development project at 3111 Packard Road just East of Platt Road in East Ann Arbor. Two old wooden frame houses were torn down in preparation for the development of a retail strip mall.

Neighbors are also anticipating the opening of Packard Marketplace. This ,8000 square foot development is on Packard just east of Platt. The city planner’s office tells me that the owner will be occupying the building in about one month. Architect Mike Van Goor confirmed and says owner Hyun Bang and son Jason Bang are planning a grand opening near the end of April.

Hyun and Jason Bang, of B&K Investment Group Inc. in Troy, want to anchor it with a neighborhood grocery store, coffee shop and other tenants.
