In the news

Nashville singer-songwriter Kathy Hussey headlines the Kerrytown District Association's sixth annual Nashbash, which has a tradition of showcasing the music of Nashville, Aug. 16. Set in the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, the festival features a roster of national and local performers in an intimate neighborhood atmosphere. The artistic force behind Nashbash is Whit Hill, a longtime member of the Ann Arbor arts community who now lives in Nashville.

“It’s really established itself as something people are talking about and asking me about,” said Relyea. “We don’t mean for it to be a major, overblown festival. It’s just a thing of quality … with an intimate feel.”
