Some hacks for navigating the Modern Languages Building.

Now that it's cold, park your bike under the center overhang on the west side. That's where the air system vents -- you won't freeze when you unlock your bike.

After hours, you'll have to come in through the door on the south west corner. All other doors are locked, and only the ground and first floors are open to students.

A press release from the U-M Department of Public Safety said the department received a call at 2:52 p.m. Friday reporting a possible armed person in the Modern Language Building, 812 E. Washington St. Officers were on the scene and quickly determined that the report was related to what they said was an "acting activity," later determined to be a prank in the building.
