Miles Street in Ypsilanti runs from the five-pointed intersection of E. Cross Street and N. Prospect Street (near Prospect Park), southeast to Michigan Avenue. The intersection of Michigan and Miles is on the eastern boundary of the City of Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Charter Township. Residents of Miles and the adjacent streets are members of the Miles Neighborhood Association.


Miles Street is named after the Miles family. Lorin C. Miles was a lawyer here in 1845. He is recorded in the Ypsilanti Village in 1843.
