"It was a bittersweet moment, telling the kids that they'd won," said Mike Hill, who teaches the newspaper course at Saline. "Mostly because they can't follow it up next year." In 2010-2011, the Golden Sting won't be offered at the high school, one of about 30 courses cut due to low enrollment.
