Since we just got catering, I really don’t know as much about the Maize and Blue Delicatessen as I wish I did, but I do know their sandwiches are good. Really good. I had never heard of this place before and now that I know about, I may have to try to get to the shop to see if their regular menu is as good as the breakfast sandwiches they put together for a bunch of hungry guys.

I have to say that I was pretty impressed by Maize n Blue Deli. Unlike Zingerman's, Maize n Blue does not gush over the pedigree of its ingredients (as tasty as they are). However, it takes the same pride in offering an impressive array of sandwiches that includes all of the classics. (4 star)
