This page could really use a template for the entries to make them less tedious to type in, at which point it would be practical to start raiding more blogrolls to fill out an exhaustive list. Ed

...and then this page sort of replaces the need to revive the late, great ArborBlogs. What details should the wiki track about bloggers? We have now: URL, name of blog, name of blogger, and 'town'. Also, once we have a template in place (hence decent markup) that implies a cron job to generate an OPML version of the blogger list. --BrianKerr

Brian, you just made me salivate. Oh, how I miss ArborBlogs! No better way to drain a few hours away on the local intarwebs. (Well, until ArborWiki came along...) --Murph

OK, I'm gonna create a Template:Blogger soon, looking for prior art at the moment. Template should probably emit microformatted markup -- something like one hcard per blogger, or an XOXO outline of all bloggers -- for convenience of people using Tails in firefox, and/or scraping the page to generate OPML. --BrianKerr

Why is there a friends-only blog on here? MattH

Apologies for the wiki spam

I don't know what I did when I edited the wiki, but it looks like I really screwed it up. I'm so sorry to the members of this site. I hope it can be restored to its original state.

I did a little pruning of blogs whose links no longer work. Anyone have any thoughts on when inactive blogs might be pruned? I'm thinking that any blog without a post in the last year should be pruned from this list, except for maybe blogs that have some historical value, such as Ann Arbor is Overrated.

Dan

Maybe the inactive blogs get pruned to a separate list? Ed

Please take the Market Watch blog off your list. The things written in this blog are false and only meant to stir up awful feelings about a wonderful community resource by malicious people.
