That's fine, because the eccentric but talented classically-trained chef, Jules Van Dyck-Dobos—who runs this hot dog stand—makes outstanding lemonade and cherry-ade to go with such specials as lobster bisque and Cajun rice. Oh yes—and they also have excellent hot dogs. All at reasonable prices. Just don't ask for soft drinks...

The original location - a small, bright red stand located at 410 E. Liberty - operated from 1979 to 2014. It closed so that the owner could focus on the location at 306 S. Main Street, which had been operated by his wife since 1996. [1]
