Lamaze Family Center Ann Arbor is a non-profit organization staffed by rigorously trained professionals who promote the well-being of the family and the concept of family-centered care from pregnancy to preschool. Founded in 1967 as the Lamaze Childbirth Preparation Association, the organization has fostered a solid reputation as a leader in childbirth education, while also evolving to incorporate many other aspects of prenatal and postpartum support.
Current program offerings include Lamaze Childbirth Education (offered at the new office location of 2855 Boardwalk, and the University of Michigan Von Voiglander Women's Hospital, Breastfeeding, Infant Care, Infant CPR, Mothers Groups, Parent-Toddler Playgroups, Toddler Art Class, and Becoming Brothers and Sisters sibling preparation classes at the University of Michigan Von Voiglander Women's Hospital.
