Knox Hops lies just outside of Manchester, Michigan, within the River Raisin Headwaters region, described by the EPA and the MI DNR as rich in natural lands, native flora, and native fauna. We acquired the acreage in 1996 and 2001 with the goal to preserve its fen, wet woodlands, and sandy upland. That remains the primary purpose of Knox Hops: to improve and encourage the native flora and fauna while we eek out a modest income to support that goal.
