The Kiddie Korner was a bicycle and toy store on the northwest corner of Main and Madison (564 S. Main). It was a retail outlet for Schwinn bicycles, Lionel trains, Matchbox/Dinky/Tootsie Toy diecast vehicles and lots of other kid's stuff. The basement featured a huge train layout and the shelves were stocked with Lionel trains and accessories. The shop was also an outlet for the Whizzer motorbike, an early moped.

The shop was sold and renamed Kids Korner because the new owners felt the term Kiddie Korner was "too condescending". They focused on cooperative and non-competitive toys instead of the earlier stock of games, toy guns, trains etc..

Later yet, the building was expanded to accommodate a change to a full-scale bike shop. After use as a bike shop, rug shop and real estate office, the red brick/aluminum building still remains.
