It was a few years after Ken Kozora founded Horns for the Holidays that he remembered that the trumpet he played when he was in fifth grade had been donated to his school. The bruised and battered trumpet had launched his music career. That makes the circle complete for the musician, educator and environmentalist who began an organization that puts, at no cost, instruments in the hands of young musicians who otherwise could not afford them.
