John Cantu was born in Dallas, Texas. He holds B.A. degree in Political Theory, History of Ideas, and Philosophy from the University of Texas and an M.A. in Philosophy, Literary Criticism, and Interpretive Theory from the University of Illinois. Cantu is an arts writer for AnnArbor.com and teaches Philosophy at Washtenaw Community College.
