many happy memories of joe's from my college years. i saw the violent femmes show mentioned in the article, along with many many afternoon all-ages hardcore shows featuring bands like ann arbor's own "the state", etc., who else ... trying to remember ... suicidal tendencies; i think the necros played there a few times, negative approach, etc.
