The township's Planning Commission recently recommended rezoning the site from agricultural to "planned project" for a combination retail, office and daycare center. Plans call for Harvest Crossing to have a 10,000-square-foot building for day care, 19,100 square feet of retail space in two buildings and 7,250 square feet of office space on the second floor of one of the retail buildings. Developer Thomas Stegeman is guiding the project.
