Emerald Dragonfly was started in 2007 by Joe and Deb Kirk. After having had a store front in Linden, Michigan for a number of years Deb and Joe decided to open a store front again in addition to their online business.
The store used to be on Detroit St near Zingerman's, and the Kirks moved to Brighton after closing the Ann Arbor store in 2012.
