The Dixboro Dam forms an impoundment of the Huron River near where it is crossed by Dixboro Road. This impoundment is sometimes called Geddes Pond after the owner of the sawmill originally at that site.
The Ann Arbor Wastewater Treatment Plant is just downstream from the dam.
The dam failed in the June 1968 flood. [1]
