2010 DxA2 Run: Sunday, June 6th

2009

The race is Sunday May 31, 2009.

Hello DxA2 Runners and Volunteers – the 2009 race is fast approaching, and plans for it are well underway. The breaking news is that the 2009 race will finish back downtown! (See Race Directors Corner for more info on that.) There will still be road construction on Huron River Drive, but we feel that the risks are minimal. Skyline had a lot of nice aspects and was a nice diversion for 2008, and it could be considered again in future years if need be, but not for 2009.

2008

Construction on that Huron River Drive meant that the June 1, 2008 35th annual race used Skyline High School as its base of operations.

1974

They were a hale and hearty group in 1974 despite being temporarily delayed by a passing train at the first Dexter-Ann Arbor Run. We've gathered together a few articles and pictures from the Ann Arbor News Archives about the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run to jog your memory....

In the news

Dan Gamble credits Ann Arbor businessman and longtime running enthusiast Elmo Morales for pushing the event during its early stages when he served as race director. Spring is coming, Morales would say - time to get off your butt and in shape for Dexter-Ann Arbor.
