Ypsilanti resale shop owner Dave Miller of Dave's Diamonds and Gold has been able to sell a large number of the 500 chains he usually carries - including some he hadn't been able to sell for several years - to a refinery. While he's had to raise prices for his jewelry, he can melt those pieces down into gold bars to quickly sell them, he said.
