Daniel Trowbridge Quirk (1903-1969) was born to Daniel L. Quirk, Jr. and Julia (Trowbridge) Quirk. He married Jeanne Hastings Grover in February 27, 1926. His sister, Nancy Lace Quirk, was married to Michigan governor G. Mennen Williams.

Quirk was president and treasurer of the Peninsular Paper Company, and mayor of Ypsilanti from 1947-53. He is buried at Highland Cemetery.
