January 2006

• 9th: Winter Break ends for AAPS students
• 10th:

  • Ann Arbor Blogger Meetup at Leopold Bros
  • 7p Public hearings on the Calthorpe proposal at City Hall Council Chambers
• 11th: ARROW (amateur radio club) meets at 7pm in Room BE 182 at Washtenaw Community College. Clark, N8CBW, will talk about his experiences working with the Red Cross providing Hurrican Katrina relief.
• AIDS Benefit Ball: at the union 8pm. Tickets $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
• 20th: "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" goes up at Community High, starring: Laura Blue.
• 21st: "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" continues
• 30th: No school for AAPS high school students, end of the first semester
• 31st: 2nd semester begins for high school students

February 2006

• 1st: University of Michigan freshman applications are due
• 23rd: 7:30PM - Ypsilanti City Council to discuss proposed budget cuts that would eliminate some AATA bus service to Ypsilanti.

• Michigan Thunderbirds Wheelchair Basketball Demo and Benefit, Wednesday, May 3, 7-9PM Greenhills School. Info from Greenhills website $5 admission; enter raffle for chance to win playing time on the court w/ the Thunderbirds. All proceeds go towards purchase of new wheelchair for the team.
