Casba Csere (pronounced "Chubba Chedda") was editor-in-chief of Car and Driver magazine from 1993 - 2008. He moved the magazine from the print-only era through an integration of T.V. and internet-based elements. He oversaw a radical redesign of the magazine in 2006-07 which was unpopular with readers. He resigned abruptly in 2008, and the look of the magazine has reverted to its previous feel.

Csere has extensive engineering and automobile racing experience. He has been widely quoted and consulted as an expert on the automobile industry.
